Congratulations on taking an important step to help yourself. First and foremost, I recognize that in order to help, I have to really get it... Deep listening & understanding must come first. I also bring many years of experience and specialized training. -One passion is helping those struggling with Adult ADHD. As someone who was diagnosed later in life, I understand both personally and professionally the impact of living untreated in an environment that isn't designed for your brain. -Second, I enjoy working with those who struggle to find confidence and a sense of direction in their life, which can be associated with anxiety and/or having grown up in an authoritarian environment or family. -Finally, I'm passionate about working with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ communities. As a lesbian woman, I have done personal work and professional training to better assist those needing support, including supporting documentation for those seeking gender-affirming surgery. Often used treatment modalities include CBT, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Internal Family Systems, all informed by an understanding of neurobiology and the impact of trauma -and most especially YOU.
